The Department of Health and Rehabilitation consists of four units - physiotherapy, occupational therapy, audiology and speech and language pathology. We have different areas of expertise within movement, activity, hearing and communication.
We are responsible for the degree programmes for future physiotherapists, occupational therapists, audiologists and speech and language pathologists, as well as second-cycle courses and postgraduate studies.
For information about the possibilities for exchange studies at one of the programmes (physiotherapy, occupational therapy, audiology or speech and language pathology), please visit Sahlgrenska Academy's information for incoming exhange students.
We focus on knowledge regarding the habilitation and rehabilitation of children and adults with disabilities. The objective is to promote health and development and to increase opportunities for activity and participation in social and professional life.
