Neurology


Clinical neurological research includes studies on etiology, pathophysiological mechanisms, progression, comorbidities, and short and long term treatment effects for the major neurological disease groups stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, neuromuscular diseases, hydrocephalus, brain tumors and multiple sclerosis.

The majority of the projects are multidisciplinary with close collaboration between researchers in the fields of neurology, neurosurgery, neuropsychology, neurophysiology, neuropathology and clinical genetics and the research groups have research collaborations both nationally and internationally.
