Education


At the Institute of Neuroscience and Physiology we offer five undergraduate programmes, as well as courses within several other programmes at the Sahlgrenska Academy. The undergraduate programmes are conducted in Swedish. In addition we offer contract education and have courses at advanced level in physiotherapy, occupational therapy, audiology and speech and language pathology.

Pharmacy Programme

The pharmacist is the expert on pharmaceuticals at the pharmacy, in the pharmaceutical industry and in research. Pharmaceutics is about everything from how pharmaceuticals affect us at the cellular level to the development of new pharmaceuticals.

Occupational Therapy Programme

Through prevention and treatment measures, occupational therapy makes it possible for people of all ages to have a meaningful everyday life. Occupational therapists work, for example, in healthcare services, correctional care, occupational health services, employment services and technical aid companies.

An audiologist is an expert in the significance of hearing and communication to social interaction. The work involves finding solutions to hearing problems based on the needs of the individual.
