International Training School

Reactive gliosis - from mechanobiology and signal transduction to molecular targets and disease pathogenesis

at Aspenäs Herrgård, Gothenburg, Sweden, 2-6 May 2017

The aim of this training school is to provide both an overview and cutting edge research data and tools for multidisciplinary understanding on the role of astrocytes and reactive gliosis in disease pathogenesis, with a special focus on the function of cellular structural networks and signal transduction in the CNS disease context. The program targets young as well as experienced European researchers, but is not restricted to European participants. Fellowships for the training school attendees are available from the European COST action EuroCellNet.

Application period for fellowship is now extended until February 23, 2017.
